As a teacher I feel it is important to allow children to independently explore their environment by trying out new things.Ibelieve in giving encouragement and emotional support to develop their confidence to take steps to achieve what they are trying to do.
My teaching philosophy encourages children to develop their own theories about the world, supporting ideas and noting how they change as their knowledge develops. Fostering a child’s imagination gives me great pleasure while also encouraging children to develop their interests and embarking on projects to further their knowledge and broaden their thinking.
Academically I have completed from Pune University.
In school while teaching kids I noticed that Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar are the best tools to develop literacy skills in kids about understanding , learning and formatting words and sentences with fun. As a result I upgraded myself in Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar through UK certified trainer.
Currently I am a proprietor of “Magic Box Academy”wherein I personally train kids in Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammarfrom various schools across Navi Mumbai.I also undertake training courses for teachers, parents and special educators in this field.
As I was always passionate about teaching and encouraging children I did my ECCed Course from Navi Mumbai. I joined North Point School and worked there for 14 years as Pre- Primary teacher. During this period I developed my educational and counselling skills.
I upgraded myself by successfully completing Diploma Course in Counselling from S.N.D.T. Institute Mumbai and also did Certificate Course in Counselling from S.I.E.S. Sion.
Working experience of 14 years as a Pre- Primary teacher in North Point School – (ICSE) reputed school.
